More Sultry Ladies

12:01 a.m. PT Apr 10, 2008

The Sultry Ladies and Red Hot Mamas are back by popular demand in an all-new musical review, and this time they're bringing along a few men for the ride.

Community Players presents a Margot Malone Production-The Sultry Ladies and Red Hot Mamas in "Broadway, Baby!"-starting tonight. This collection of some of the best Broadway music will be performed live by 11 of Nevada County's finest female vocalists, with special guests Bruce Kelly, Wayne Powers and Michael Ballard.

According to Malone, "Broadway, Baby!" is about dreams....dreams of success on the Broadway stage, and the people who flock there, looking for their big break. This musical review follows the process of following that dream and the excitement of making it.

The show runs for three weekends.

Sultry Ladies and Red Hot Mamas did its first show, "Return of the Torch Singer," last year to rave reviews.
