Police blotter 3/28/08

Tuesday

10:44 p.m. A woman from Dolores Drive called the Grass Valley Police Department, saying she was afraid someone was going to "rob" the residence. An anonymous man called to report it appeared a woman was being held against her will in the back seat of a vehicle with a suspect. A search was conducted with negative results.



11:30 p.m. - A woman from the 22000 block of Rhubarb Place reported her ex-boyfriend was making death threats to her.



Wednesday

11:21 a.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Sierra Circle reported multiple thefts from property in recent months.



11:39 a.m. - A caller from Washington reported the theft of a safe and generator.



2:59 p.m. - A caller from Magnolia Road reported possible drug activity in a green minivan.



3:41 p.m. - A caller from Deadmans Flat Bridge reported a motorcycle driving on private property.

5:34 p.m. - A woman from Three Homes Road requested medical assistance after her 15-year-old daughter "drank nail polish remover on purpose." Mental Health responded.



6:05 p.m. - A woman from the 17000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported her estranged husband has been bothering her with harassing phone calls. The woman said the man has called 20 times in the last 20 minutes from Florida.



6:40 p.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive reported a person out in the yard, screaming and causing a ruckus.



6:43 p.m. - A caller from the 10000 block of Manzanita Drive requested assistance with a resident who was burning illegally and would not allow firefighters on the property.



11:48 p.m. - A woman from You Bet Road reported she was assaulted by her daughter's boyfriend's mother after attempting to retrieve her daughter, who ran away.



6:29 a.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Goodridge Way reported a large black bear in her backyard.
