Peyton-Martin wedding

Laura Kathleen Peyton and Gregory Michael Martin were married on Sept. 1, 2007, at the Exchange Conference Center in Boston, Mass.

The evening ceremony was officiated by the bride's cousin, the Rev. Linda Peyton. The reception was attended by 100 family members and friends.

The bride wore an ivory silk gown by Pronovias and carried a bouquet of red roses.

The maid of honor was Janet Newhall. The matron of honor was the bride's mother, Barbara Winchester.

The best man was Hunter Burgan. The best woman was Nicole Martin, sister of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Malcolm Peyton and Barbara Winchester of Cambridge, Mass. She graduated from Boston University in 2002 and is currently enrolled at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, N.Y.

The groom is the son of Edward and Gayle Martin of Nevada City. He is a 1994 graduate of Nevada Union High School, a 1999 graduate of the University of California, Davis and a 2002 graduate of Columbia University.

The couple currently lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.
