Feds honor Nevada County Housing Authority

The Nevada County Housing Authority has been designated a high performance housing authority by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for 2007.

It is the highest rating a housing authority can receive and reflects a superior grade for program operations within its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.

The voucher program provides housing assistance for approximately 255 low income Nevada County families through the issuance of vouchers while promoting self-sufficiency.
