Firefighters responded to a house attic fire on the corner of West Main and North School Street in Grass Valley early Saturday morning.

Fire crews from Grass Valley, Nevada Consolidated, Nevada City, Ophir Hill and Penn Valley responded to the blaze, and Grass Valley police did traffic control.

West Main Street was closed from North School to High streets, because of fire apparatus blocking the area. The roads were reopened to traffic after 11 a.m.

There were no reported injuries.
