2:36 p.m. - A caller from Centennial Drive and Idaho-Maryland Road reported a tree fell and pulled down utility wires, which were in Wolf Creek.
5:41 p.m. - Police stopped a vehicle on Lloyd Street at Walsh Street and arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving.
8:23 p.m. - A woman called from a store on the 12000 block of Nevada City Highway to report her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. She said she ran into the store for a moment, and when she returned, her purse was gone. Police took a report.

3:35 a.m. - Police provided a ride to an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Segeworth Way for a person who was locked out of a vehicle at a gas station.

4:20 p.m. - Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on Joerschke Drive at Maltman Drive and arrested a man on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and violating probation. Another man was arrested on suspicion of false personation of another, violating probation, possessing a controlled substance and on a local warrant. The men were transported to the Nevada County jail by Grass Valley police.

1:30 a.m. - A caller reported a vehicle rolled over on northbound Highway 49 at the Brunswick Road offramp. A deputy determined there were no injuries. The CHP responded.

8:33 a.m. - A caller from a store on the 300 block of Sacramento Street reported a suspicious-looking man was sucking on gas nozzles and scaring customers and employees. He was wearing white-and-black polka dot pajamas. Police arrested the man on suspicion of trespassing and booked him into jail. The jail would not accept the man, and he was released to the custody of Behavioral Health Services for an evaluation at the hospital emergency room.
6:34 p.m. - A caller reported a dark Toyota 4-Runner crashed into a fire hydrant on Red Dog Road at Park Avenue. The vehicle that allegedly hit the hydrant was gone when police arrived. Nevada Irrigation District turned off the water.
