Carole Carson interviews senior staff writer Dave Moller on Thursday afternoon in The Union's newsroom.
The Nevada County Meltdown, which saw more than 1,000 people lose more than 7,500 pounds in the first two months of 2004, continues to capture the national limelight.
On Thursday, meltdown maven Carole Carson interviewed a number of people - including this reporter - about their participation and interaction with the event for a TV show, expected to air sometime in January, on the Christian Broadcasting Network. Some of the others interviewed were county Supervisor Sue Horne, triathlete Michelle Hughes and Ann Mitchell, who lost 40 pounds.
Carson's message also is coming to the new AARP Web site in March, and it will include videos and articles from The Union about the meltdown.
"What we did will be an example to many, literally, around the world," Carson said.
