The Center for the Arts will kick off its new monthly Children's Series, sponsored by Citizens Bank of Northern California, on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The Nevada County Performing Arts Guild will present highlights from "OZ - The 3rd Book," the group's upcoming theatrical production. The show will take place in the center's main theater from 10 to 11 a.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring three children and the adult gets in free.
The next event in the Children's Series will be a Santa Workshop on Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drop off your kids and shop locally or stay and watch while your child takes part in a crafts workshop with art instructor Susan Barry.
On Dec. 8, from 10 to 11 a.m., AirAligned's acrobatics, dance and Cirque du Soleil-style aerial works will wow the kids with a special short performance geared toward a younger audience.
