At 9:41 a.m., a caller reported a traffic accident on Allison Ranch Road at Mill Street. The accident involved one vehicle, a silver Nissan pickup. Police contacted the 54-year-old driver and cited him on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and possessing less than an ounce of marijuana while driving a motor vehicle.
At 11:25 a.m., a woman from a store on the 700 block of Sutton Way reported she left her purse in a shopping cart and it was gone. The woman canceled all of her credit cards.
At 2:07 p.m., a caller from a business on the 1000 block of East Main Street reported a traffic accident behind the building. Police arrested the 44-year-old male driver on suspicion of drunken driving.
At 2:21 p.m., a woman in the police station lobby reported that, while she was at the post office, someone placed a bumper sticker on her car that read, "My child was inmate of the month at county jail." The sticker came off.
At 6:21 p.m., a caller from a business on the 100 block of Neal Street reported a juvenile wearing a baseball hat and big blue shorts stole the tip jar and fled on foot toward the fairgrounds.
At 7:47 p.m., a woman from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported finding two kittens. One had an open wound. A dispatcher said an officer could not assist her. The woman said she would keep the kittens comfortable and turn them in to the animal shelter in the morning.
At 8:30 p.m., a caller from a business on the 100 block of McKnight Way reported two people in a white Honda Accord left without paying their bill. One person had a broken arm. An officer was notified.
At 10:30 p.m., a man from Sutton Way at Brunswick Road reported he was assaulted by a person driving a silver Acura TL. Police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of violating probation.

At 3 a.m., a woman reported her brother is an ill transient and if he were to pass away, she would like to be notified.
At 3:10 a.m., a caller reported a pedestrian was standing under a light pole on Highway 20 just west of Brighton Street. Police contacted the 31-year-old man and arrested him on a local warrant.

At 1:21 p.m., a woman called from a motel on the 10000 block of Rough and Ready Highway to report her boyfriend was suffering from drug withdrawals.
At 2:39 p.m., a person at the front counter reported someone was throwing empty beer cans and shooting things with a BB gun at a property on the 17000 block of Refuge Road. The shooter also drives fast, screams foul words and throws trash in the creek. A deputy would contact the person making the report.
At 9:30 p.m., a caller from Gate 2 of Scotts Flat Lake reported a 20-year-old woman walked away from a campsite at approximately 3 p.m. Deputies had been called out to a dispute the night before involving the woman and her sister. The sister said the missing woman was mentally handicapped. Deputies determined the woman hitched a ride to her home in Reno, and her impairment was not as severe as initially reported.
At 10:09 p.m., a woman from the 10000 block of Cole Way reported a 45-year-old woman was knocking at the front door and asking her to call the police and help. The woman said her arm was hurt and she couldn't say who did it. She said she was assaulted by a man when she went to pick up her mail. Deputies contacted the 45-year-old woman and arrested her on suspicion of public drunkenness and violating probation.

At 3:48 p.m., a woman in the police station lobby reported her son recently made a bomb threat while on an Amtrak train outside Denver. She said the FBI was contacted and her son was removed from the train. She said her son contacted her via text message and wrote, "It's not over yet." She said he had been suicidal in the past and has said he was willing to harm or kill others. She said she did not know where her son was, but that he was somewhere in the Midwest.
