• At 1:43 p.m., a caller reported a noninjury accident on Idaho-Maryland Road and Sutton Way involving a Chevrolet Blazer and a Toyota Corolla. Police took a report.
• At 1:44 p.m., a caller from a business on the 1000 block of East Main Street reported an ex-employee was using company funds and forging checks. Police arrested a 35-year-old woman on suspicion of forgery.
• At 2:57 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on North Auburn Street and arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of violating parole and false impersonation of another person. Police cited a 43-year-old woman on suspicion of obstructing an officer.
• At 3:08 p.m., a caller from the 800 block of South Auburn Street reported a three-vehicle accident involving a silver Honda, a gold vehicle and a small pickup. Police took a report.
• At 4:58 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Ridge Road and Banner View east of Alta Street and arrested a 36-year-old woman on a warrant out of Trinity County. She also was cited on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and marijuana while driving a motor vehicle.
• At 5:09 p.m., a caller from a fitness club on the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported the theft of two purses. Police took a report.
• At 5:38 p.m., a woman called from the 800 block of Forest Glade Circle to report a loud band was playing and her walls were vibrating. Police contacted the woman. Band practice was over.
Thursday
• At 1:11 a.m., police arrested a 30-year-old man at a drug store on the 1000 block of Sutton Way on a warrant out of Placer County. Police also arrested a 45-year-old woman on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
• At 9:32 a.m., a caller from Hennessy School reported a man in a Ford van was in a parking lot at the school. The man had been seen around the school for the past week, but he never had any children with him. Police checked the area and were unable to locate the van.

• At 2:25 p.m., a caller from the 14000 block of Highway 49 reported signs were damaged. A deputy took a report for vandalism.
• At 5:03 p.m., a caller from the 10000 block of Woodchuck Court reported a pit bull terrier was stolen within the last hour. Someone called back later to say everything was fine, and the dog was back home.
• At 5:44 p.m., a caller reported a minor injury accident on Highway 20 at Penn Valley Drive. The California Highway Patrol was advised.
• At 8:43 p.m., the CHP advised the sheriff's office of possible domestic abuse with a firearm on "Miwok" in North San Juan. There was no such address. Sierra County deputies advised the address was in their jurisdiction, and they were on their way. Only one deputy was available from Sierra County and that deputy would be handling an aggravated assault in Alleghany. More than an hour later, it was determined both people involved in the domestic assault had been drinking. The woman also was on medication. She left the house for the evening.
Thursday
• At 8:25 a.m., a caller from the 21000 block of Pine Needle Lane reported trash was left on a private road and Waste Management Inc. would not pick it up because the neighbors don't have garbage service at their house.
• At 9:22 a.m., a caller from a school on the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a juvenile ran away. The juveniles was located.

• At 2:20 p.m., a man called to report someone spit in his face at Calanan Park.
• At 7:35 p.m., a caller from the 300 block of Railroad Avenue reported a juvenile was locked in a vehicle. A tow truck was called. The estimated time of arrival was 15 to 20 minutes.
