&#149; At 11:34 a.m., a caller from East Main Street at West Berryhill Drive reported a red Hummer allegedly bumped the caller's vehicle, then continued to move west on East Main Street. Police checked the area and were unable to locate a red Hummer. They took a report.

&#149; At 11:49 a.m., a caller from the 200 block of South Church Street reported a man wearing gold underpants and beige clothing came into a church looking for assistance. The man was riding a bicycle. He became agitated and left.

&#149; At 3:15 p.m., a caller reported a reckless driver in a newer black pickup truck almost ran a school bus off the road on Highway 49 near La Barr Meadows Road. The California Highway Patrol was notified.

&#149; At 11:31 p.m., a woman called from the 200 block of Upper Slate Creek Road to report a prowler was at her truck outside. Police contacted the woman and determined no crime had occurred.

&#149; At 11:44 p.m., police stopped a vehicle at Ridge Road and Hughes Road and arrested a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of driving under the influence and possessing marijuana or an open container of alcohol while driving a motor vehicle. Police had her green Jeep towed.



Thursday

&#149; At 12:04 a.m., a caller from a bar in downtown Grass Valley reported a physical fight. No one had a description of the perpetrator and the victim was transported to the hospital emergency room.

&#149; At 1:37 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Empire Street and arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving.

&#149; At 1:37 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Murphy at Eureka streets and cited a 26-year-old man on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. They also arrested him on suspicion of violating probation. Police had his white Ford Bronco towed.

&#149; At 7:47 a.m., a man called from the 100 block of Muir Court to report his and his mother's cars were broken into. Police took a report for grand theft.

&#149; At 9:57 a.m., a caller from a fast food restaurant on the 11000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a possible drunken driver in a gold 2004 Subaru. Police contacted a 47-year-old woman and cited her on suspicion of violating probation. They took her car keys for safekeeping.

&#149; At 2:49 p.m., a caller from the 26000 block of Table Meadow Road reported a suspicious-looking man in the area was offering steam-cleaning information. There was no steam-cleaning equipment in his vehicle, which had Idaho license plates. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the man.

&#149; At 6:38 p.m., a man called from the 10000 block of Stotler Avenue reported a suspicious-looking "bundle" in a field next his house. His dogs kept barking at it. He said it looked as if a body could be under it. A white Dodge Ram truck was "lurking" by the bundle. A deputy responded. There was no body.

&#149; At 9:23 a.m., a caller from the 13000 clock of Grass Valley Avenue reported someone entered his business last night and stole several digital cameras. A deputy took a report.

Wednesday

&#149; At 4:38 p.m., a caller from a store on the 700 block of Zion Street reported a man had been stealing items from the store. Police took a report. A sergeant said the person had been "86'd" from the business.

&#149; At 4:54 p.m., a caller from Miner's Trail reported a transient was sleeping on the trail. Police checked the area and were unable to locate a sleeping person.



Thursday

&#149; At 11:14 a.m., a caller from Gold Flat Road reported a male juvenile was dressed in black and looking over a bridge. The caller was concerned about the juvenile's welfare. Police were unable to locate the youth.
