Free USO concert Sunday afternoon

The 59th Army Band will perform a free, two-hour USO concert Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grass Valley Memorial Veterans Hall, 255 South Auburn Street. Donations will be accepted for the USO fund by the American Legion Post 130 All Veterans Honor Guard, which is sponsoring the event.

Refreshments and dances will cost 10 cents apiece. The doors open at 1 p.m. and no alcohol will be allowed.
