At 9:05 a.m., paramedics requested an officer respond to a medical call. A woman on the 600 block of Minnie Street said she was locked out of the residence, then cut her hand trying to enter through a window. Paramedics wanted police to verify this. Police contacted the woman and tried to contact a man who lived there, but were unable to locate him. No arrests were made.
At 10:52 a.m., a woman called 911 from the 600 block of Packard Drive. She hung up. When dispatcher called her back, she said she was concerned because her power was out but she was fine.
At 11:57 a.m., police arrested a 19-year-old man at Sierra Foothill High School for a warrant.
At 12:10 p.m., a caller from the 100 block of Doris Drive reported a tree had fallen and was being held up by another tree. Public Works was advised.
At 12:31 p.m., a caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and tan khaki pants was disturbing the peace.
At 2:02 p.m., police were looking for a suicidal person last seen in the Glenbrook Basin area. The person was driving a 1997 white Honda Accord with black wheels and had threatened to jump off the Foresthill bridge. Placer County officials contacted the person on the Foresthill bridge, and he was fine.
At 2:38 p.m., a caller reported a freeway sign was down on McCourtney Road at a freeway entrance. The California Department of Transportation was advised.
At 4:38 p.m., a caller from the homeless shelter intake center on the 200 block of South Church Street said a man needed to be removed from the building. The man left before police arrived.
At 6:36 p.m., a caller from a store on West McKnight Way reported a customer was verbally hostile with employees, who asked him to leave. He continued to be abusive and finally left. The man was in his 30s and had not recently shaved. He was driving a blue PT Cruiser. The employees would call police at closing time to be escorted to their vehicles.
At 7:31 p.m., a man called from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive to report a woman hit and scratched him while he was trying to leave in his vehicle. The man was advised to go to the police station so police could get pictures of the injuries and take a report. The man said he would think about filing a report. By 10:30 p.m., the man still had not arrived at the station.
At 8:23 p.m., a man came into the police station to report he saw a car sideswipe another car on East Main Street, then continue on. The victim and his vehicle were located at City Hall. Police located the other driver and his car with a flat tire in Dow Alexander Park. Police arrested the 21-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving and a hit-and-run.
At 9:09 p.m., a woman from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a 23-year-old man with a shaved head had been ringing her doorbell and pounding on her door. He jumped over the balcony and was knocking on her bedroom window. Police were unable to locate him when they arrived, and they advised the woman of the restraining order process. Sixteen minutes later, police stopped the man in his vehicle on Highway 49 between south Auburn Street and Empire Street and advised him not to return to the Sutton Way address.

At 12:52 a.m., a sheriff's dispatcher reported a call from a woman who said another woman called from a pay telephone in Grass Valley, saying she had taken 30 Klonopin, an anti-seizure/panic medication. The information was given to patrol officers.
At 1:24 a.m., a caller from Sacramento reported a 30-year-old man left at 6 p.m. yesterday to dig his Suburban out of the snow in Nevada City, and he had not been heard from. Three hours later, the same caller said the man was fine. He had gotten stuck again, but was on his way home.
At 2:03 a.m., a man reported his son wanted to turn himself in, and he was on Empire Street. Police contacted the 30-year-old man on Empire Street and arrested him on local and Placer County warrants for resisting a peace officer, petty theft and possession of a controlled substance.

At 11:29 a.m., a woman in Wayne Brown Correctional Facility requested police make contact with her children. She was worried for their safety and was concerned they may be involved in pornography.
At 2:59 p.m., a caller from the 12000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported hearing three loud explosions 15 minutes before. The area was quiet when deputies arrived.
At 4:17 p.m., a caller from the 10000 block of Horton Street reported a 17-year-old boy ran away and was last seen at the residence a week ago.
At 4:33 p.m., a caller from the 11000 block of Sandpiper Way reported a 15-year-old girl as a runaway. She was last seen at school that afternoon at 1 p.m., and she was known to frequent downtown Grass Valley on the 100 block of Neal Street. A deputy took a report for a missing person.
At 5:42 p.m., a caller from the 16000 block of David Way reported a restraining order violation. A deputy took a report.
At 7:03 p.m., a woman called from the 24000 block of Clayton Road to report she had not seen or heard from her grandson since December. A deputy took a report for a missing person.
At 8:30 p.m., a caller from the 11000 block of Lime Kiln Road reported a harassing phone call from a telemarketer. The caller said the telemarketer was told not to call back, but continued to call, leaving disturbing messages on the answering machine.
At 10:25 p.m., a woman called from the 11000 block of Glen Meadow Drive to report there was a person in her garage. The woman was advised not to go outside and make contact, but her husband was going outside with a shotgun. Deputies made contact, and no arrests were made.
At 10:47 p.m., a man called from the 10000 block of Walker Drive to report he was assaulted with a baseball bat and his father had injuries as well. He said two cars pulled up to the residence, he went out to see who it was and he was assaulted. The man was transported to the hospital and a deputy took a report for aggravated assault. The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
Tuesday
At 6:59 a.m., a caller from Englebright Lake reported a house boat was drifting on the lake toward the dam overflow. The U.S. Corps of Engineers would handle the incident.
At approximately 9 a.m., a caller from the 11000 block of Sandpiper Way reported the 15-year-old girl who had run away had returned home. The parent requested the girl be cited for trespassing with the threat of great bodily injury. The girl was cited and removed from law enforcement's missing persons list.

At 8:39 p.m., a caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a person in front of a grocery store was bothering customers about buying spray paint. Police contacted the man and he would be moving on.
