At 10:28 a.m., police arrested a 34-year-old man on the 100 block of West Empire Street for a warrant.
At 12:05 p.m., a caller from Brunswick Road reported a vehicle was parked in the road with a man hunched over near the vehicle. Police checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle or the person.
At 1:04 p.m., a caller from the 200 block of South Church Street reported three juveniles were skateboarding in the street and on the steps of a church.
At 2 p.m., a man called from the 900 block of Sutton Way to report a person assaulted him with a knife on Feb. 18 at 4 a.m. Police contacted the man, who would submit a statement.
At 2:26 p.m., a woman in the police station lobby said someone was pet-sitting her dog and would not return it. Police would follow up.
At 3:18 p.m., a woman called from the hospital on Glasson Way to report she had not received food for two days. Police contacted the nursing supervisor, who would check on the woman.
At 3:58 p.m., a caller from a grocery store on Nevada City Highway reported shoplifting. A man tried to steal a bottle of alcohol and when he was confronted by a store employee, he ran out the door and got into a four-door Geo. He then got out of the Geo and into a Jeep. Police contacted the caller who did not want to file a report but he did want extra patrol in the area.
At 4:44 p.m., a caller from a restaurant on the 100 block of Neal Street reported five people were loitering on the steps. Police contacted the people and advised them to move on.
At 9:01 p.m., a police arrested a 35-year-old man on the 500 block of Linden Avenue for a local warrant.
Tuesday
At 9:02 a.m., a caller from a gas station on McKnight Way was locked out of a red Dodge Neon. Police provided assistance.

At 1:58 p.m., a caller was requesting a report for an assault by jail staff on Feb. 18. A woman reportedly sustained injuries after jail staff subdued her during booking. No criminal complaint was requested and a deputy took a miscellaneous incident report.
At 2:57 p.m., a caller from the 16000 block of Garden Bar Road reported a person was either on drugs or drunk and would not leave. The person made threats to harm the caller. The person was walking on Garden Bar Road. Deputies were unable to locate the person.
At 3:06 p.m,, a caller reported teenagers were riding quads at You Bet Road at Greenhorn Creek. A trailer was also abandoned at the location and it appeared to have been vandalized. Deputies were unable to locate the trespassers.
At 3:29 p.m., a woman called to report she watched a television show, "60 Minutes," and she was concerned for her stepfather's welfare. She had not spoken to him in more than 12 years. A deputy went to the address and determined the stepfather was staying in Colorado.
At 4:50 p.m., a woman called from the 10000 block of Valley Drive to report a goat was taken from her property. The caller would check with her neighbors before an officer responded.
At 4:53 p.m., a caller from the 17000 block of Alexandra Way reported a possible rabid skunk was running in circles and acting strange. Animal Control was advised.
At 7:07 p.m., a woman called from the 11000 block of Gold Pan Way to report her daughter's purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A deputy took a report for grand theft.
At 7:11 p.m., a caller from the 13000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported a domestic disturbance. A person was punching holes in the walls then left the residence for the night.
At 11:39 p.m., a woman called from Rattlesnake Road to report hearing two shots fired in the area. All was quiet when deputies arrived.
At 11:57 p.m., a caller from Spenceville Road reported hearing three gunshots in the area. All was quiet when deputies arrived.

At 8:45 a.m., a caller from the hospital reported a woman was in the hospital emergency room after an assault that occurred last night in North San Juan. The victim did not want to talk to police but the caller had to make a mandatory report. A deputy responded. No report was taken, but the deputy left a business card with the woman.
At 9:07 a.m., a social worker in Sacramento County reported a person in a mental health institution was making threats toward a woman who lives on the 11000 block of Creekview Drive. "I'm going to pop her neck" was the person's comment. The caller would report the threat to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. The woman was getting a restraining order.
