At 8:33 a.m., a caller from the 400 block of Chapel Street reported tools were stolen from a job site.
At 8:42 a.m., a caller from the 300 block of Marshall Street requested extra patrols for minor vehicle thefts that have been occurring lately.
At 1:30 p.m., a man in the police station lobby reported his car was vandalized while parked in the City Hall parking lot. An officer took a report for vandalism.
At 2:27 p.m., a caller from North Auburn at Washington streets reported three boys were going into driveways and looking into vehicles.
At 3:40 p.m., a caller reported a noninjury accident on La Barr Meadows Road at McKnight Way. Police took a report.
At 4 p.m., a woman from out of town misplaced her vehicle, a white Volvo with Mexican plates and a large German shepherd inside. Police helped the woman find her vehicle.
At 4:40 p.m., a caller from a store on Sutton Way reported burglary. Police took a report.
At 4:48 p.m., a caller from a restaurant on the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a customer left without paying and was verbally abusive to an employee. The officer was waiting to talk to the employee before filing a report.
At 5:09 p.m., a caller reported an injury accident at McCourtney Road at Mill Street.
At 10:45 p.m., a caller from a grocery store on Nevada City Highway reported a possible drunken driver. An older man with a full beard driving a silver Toyota Tacoma hit road markers across from a gas station on the same road. Police stopped the car and spoke with the 53-year-old driver. He had not been drinking, but was possibly driving badly.

At 12:30 a.m., an officer contacted a 41-year-old man in a van in a parking lot on West McKnight Way. The officer advised the man of the city's camping ordinance and told him to move on the next day.

At 9:37 a.m., a psychiatrist reported receiving a phone call from someone who said a gun and a knife were found that belonged to a patient. Notes threatening electrocution and other forms of harm toward the doctor also were found. The patient was in custody at Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. The doctor wanted a report and possibly an emergency protective order. A deputy and a probation officer contacted the doctor and the probation officer would handle the situation further.
At 10:37 a.m., a caller from the 11000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported a man was urinating on a building. A deputy admonished the man.
At 1:20 p.m., a woman from the 12000 block of Quaker Hill Cross Road reported her neighbors are loud when the weather is good and she wanted to know how to make them stop.
At 8:08 p.m., a caller from Wolf Road requested deputies check the area near Combie Road for a woman hitchhiking with two black eyes.

At 9:10 a.m., a deputy cited a juvenile on the 1000 block of Ridge Road for false representation of identity to an officer.

At 9:46 a.m., a caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported the main sewer line was bubbling out of a manhole and it was possibly clogged. Public Works was notified.

At 5:21 p.m., a caller from the 500 block of Long Street reported a very large garbage can was on fire.
At 8:44 a.m., a caller from the 400 block of Factory Street reported a raccoon that was sleeping on her porch was running on the side of the road and she was concerned the raccoon would be injured or run over. An officer advised the woman that raccoons are wild and the police department could not assist.
