At 12:01 p.m., a caller from South Auburn Street at Neal Street reported a dog was locked in a blue Toyota pickup with no windows open. Police notified Animal Control.
At 12:31 p.m., a caller from the 500 block of Wiley Street reported a neighbor was yelling obscenities over a fence at kids in the pool. Police made contact so that the person would stop yelling.
At 12:59 p.m., a caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported a vehicle was vandalized.
At 8:13 p.m., a woman called from the 400 block of South Auburn Street to report a dispute about a sprinkler system that was spraying her house and yard and furniture and her neighbor refused to turn it off. Police made contact.
At 10:38 p.m., a caller from Kathleen Way reported a group of three boys and two girls were running around the neighborhood and hiding behind cars. Police checked the area and could smell smoke. The area was checked extensively and police were unable to locate the children or the source of the smell.
At 11:33 p.m., a woman called from the 100 block of Kathleen Way to report she could smell smoke behind her house and she said juveniles with firecrackers were in the area. Police checked the area again and were unable to locate any juveniles or firecrackers.

At 9:48 a.m., a caller from the 600 block of Packard Drive reported vandalism to a vehicle.

At 11:51 a.m., a man called from the 16000 block of Annie Drive to report vandalism to his car. Someone keyed his 1982 Corvette. A deputy took a report.
At 1:13 p.m., a caller from Highway 49 near a restaurant/bar reported a woman and a baby in a cream-colored sedan appeared afraid of the man they were with. Deputies were unable to locate them.
At 1:29 p.m., a woman called from the 14000 block of Pammy Way to report two men entered her residence claiming to clean carpets. They handed her a brochure with hardly any information on it and when she said no, they grabbed it and left on foot. Deputies were unable to locate the men.
At 1:36 a.m., a woman called from Indian Springs Road at McCourtney Road to report a man was hitting his head on a tree as she passed several times. Deputies were unable to locate the man.
At 4:13 p.m., a caller from juvenile hall requested contact with a deputy for citation of two juveniles that were involved in an assault on staff and vandalism.
At 5:41 p.m., deputies made three arrests on the 100 block of Rockwood Drive. A 26-year-old woman was arrested for violation of probation, a 29-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, and a 23-year-old man was arrested for failing to comply with a court order and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 7:43 p.m., an Amber Alert was issued for 16-year-old girl allegedly abducted by a 22-year-old man in West Tennessee. The man was reportedly armed with a tire iron and they were in a red Ford Focus.
At 8:37 p.m., a caller from the 13000 block of Placer Lane reported a runaway juvenile.
At 8:40 p.m., Auburn Police Department alerted local law enforcement to be on the lookout for a dark blue Toyota Rav4 stolen from Hoffman Avenue in Auburn at noon.
At 9:46 p.m., a caller from Western Gateway Park reported a man was walking back and forth and may have been intoxicated.
At 9:46 p.m., a caller from Highway 49 reported a man in a brown plaid shirt and jeans appeared to be lighting something on fire on the right side of the highway. Deputies were unable to locate the man.
At 11:15 p.m., a man called from the 19000 block of Matthew Road to report his brother had been acting strangely after a discussion about inheritance. His brother was chasing him and asking him "where his big knife was." Deputies responded and separated the brothers.
