SkyCatz disc golf club, in Grass Valley and Penn Valley, have come together with Grass Valley's Park and Recreations and the Sierra Nevada Children's Services to provide a Youth Education Program (YEP), since they were told that the 4H summer program was cut, due to lack of funding.

This program is free to all children, fourth through eighth grades.

The SkyCatz organization is dedicated in helping the county's youth be able to enjoy a safe, fun sport with a good group of people who have volunteered their time.

All are welcomed to join the SkyCatz Disc Golf Club (YEP) every Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Park (off of 174). For more information on this program, please contact SkyCatz's program director, Charlotte Hines at 559-8672.
