Emily Jean Mounce and Philip Erich Scholz, both of Pleasanton, were married April 28 in Westin Maui, Ka'anapali, Hawaii. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Pia Aluli.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Charlene Mounce of Chicago Park. She is a graduate of Nevada Union High School and of Santa Clara University. She works for Accenture.

The bridegroom is the son of Fritz and Roberta Scholz of Shoreline, Wash. He is a graduate of Santa Clara University and works for Nvidia.
