Tuesday

• At 5:23 p.m., a caller from the 1400 block of Segesworth Way reported a neighbor who continues to expose himself. Police cited and released a 55-year-old man for indecent exposure.

• At 9:58 p.m., a caller from the 100 block of East Berryhill Drive reported several men smoking marijuana on their balcony.

• At 10:58 p.m., a man from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported he was assaulted by a woman in her 40s.

• At 11:46 p.m., police arrested a 41-year-old Grass Valley woman on suspicion of battery.



Wednesday

• At 3:10 a.m., a caller reported a large, noisy party on the 400 block of Mill Street. Police arrested a 20-year-old Grass Valley man on suspicion of providing alcohol to minors.

• At 3:17 a.m., police gave a ride home to a caller who had locked the keys inside a vehicle on the 100 block of South Auburn Street.

• At 3:37 a.m., a caller from Longs Drugs on Sutton Way reported two men and a woman tried to buy binoculars with a check that police found was from a purse stolen from an Auburn woman four days earlier.

• At 2:26 p.m., a caller from the 600 block of Brighton Street reported the theft of medications.

Tuesday

• At 2:41 p.m., a caller reported vandalism to a gate and mine shaft near the intersection of Brunswick Road and East Bennett Street.

• At 2:53 p.m., a caller from Highway 49 at Francisco Lane reported a horse loose and running southbound. The California Highway Patrol and Nevada County Animal Control responded.

• At 5:28 p.m., a caller from the 10900 block of Red Lane reported a physical fight earlier in the day. A deputy found it was a case of mutual combat.

• At 8:20 p.m., a caller from the 18400 block of Harmony Place reported a physical fight between a 23-year-old and a 15-year-old. Deputies found it was a case of mutual combat and no charges were pressed.

• At 10:08 p.m., a caller from the 16300 block of Patricia Way reported the house had been hit with paint balls and accused a youth of the vandalism.



Wednesday

• At 8:02 a.m., another caller from the 16300 block of Patricia Way reported someone hit two vehicles and a house with paint balls in the night. The caller asked for extra patrols.

• At 9:01 a.m., a caller from the 16100 block of Auburn Road reported the theft of a full can of garbage.

• At 9:54 a.m., a caller from the 20100 block of Clydesdale Road reported the theft of a weed-eater by someone who lives with the caller.

• At 10:27 a.m., a caller from the 12200 block of Pawnee Trail Road asked for assistance in the case of an elderly person who had been assaulted and abused by a grandchild.

• At 10:32 a.m., a woman from the 17800 block of Norlene Way reported her house hit with paint balls during the night.

• At 1:34 p.m., a caller from the 18400 block of North Cherry Creek Road reported a 3-year-old child had been missing for 20 minutes, and neighbors were looking for the child. About 14 minutes later, the child was found in a car and rescued by deputies.

Monday

• At 12:01 p.m., a caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a theft.

• At 8:16 p.m., a caller from Broad Street at Bennett Street reported two men on the sidewalk yelling obscenities at cars.

• At 10:06 p.m., a woman from the 800 block of Zion Street reported a man was looking in the bathroom window while her daughter was brushing her teeth.
