• At 2:49 p.m., police arrested a 33-year-old man after a woman from the 600 block of Walsh Street told police the man had assaulted her and had tried to stop her from leaving the premises. The man was booked into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on suspicion of battery and false imprisonment.
• At 6:05 p.m., a caller from the 200 block of Biggs Avenue reported a neighbor's car alarm had gone off for the third time in the previous 48 hours.
• At 7:42 p.m., police arrested a girl on a warrant at Memorial Park; the girl was booked into Juvenile Hall. Police also cited a man for numerous vehicle code violations and ordered him to stay away from the park for 72 hours.
• At 10:05 p.m., police arrested a 27-year-old man at the northbound Golden Center Freeway and McKnight Way on suspicion of drug possession, giving false information to an officer and on two local warrants.
• At 11:12 p.m., police arrested a man on the 300 block of Sutton Way on suspicion of resisting arrest and a probation violation.

• At 9:27 a.m., a woman from the 400 block of LaMarque Court reported a burglar had entered the house and she was hiding with her son. Police arrested a man on suspicion of vandalism and making annoying telephone calls.
• At 10:11 a.m., a man from the Scotia Pines area reported youths shot numerous plastic pellets at his garage.
• At 4:20 p.m., police arrested a 21-year-old man on the 200 block of Colfax Avenue on a local warrant for theft.
• At 5:28 p.m., a caller reported people at the corner of Sutton Way and Idaho-Maryland Road were selling strawberries without a peddler's license.
• At 8:47 p.m., after receiving a call that people were loitering behind the Grass Valley Public Library, police arrested two men on suspicion of public drunkenness.
• At 11:47 p.m., police cited and released two men found with marijuana and a pipe at an apartment on the 200 block of Joerschke Drive. A third man, 47 years old, was arrested on a local warrant.

• At 9:32 p.m., a caller reported a fight on the 18000 block of Starduster Drive. When contacted by a deputy, a woman said she and her husband had spit at each other.

• At 2:41 a.m., a caller from the emergency room of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital reported having been assaulted on Highway 20 near Washington.
• At 10:19 a.m., a caller from Squirrel Creek Road at Crestwood Drive reported people had been sleeping in a bus stop shelter that neighbors had built for local children to wait for their school bus.
• At 2:46 p.m., a caller from the 30900 block of Relief Hill Road reported a naked man in the middle of the roadway yelling religious remarks. A deputy found the man near the Pine Aire Campground, and the man's girlfriend took him home.
