Dan and Ryan Bertoncini, a local father and son combo, each won their respective divisions over the weekend at the Motherlode amateur disc golf tournament.
Saturday's first and second rounds were played at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley and the third and fourth rounds on Sunday were at Condon Park in Grass Valley.
Ryan shot a four-round total of 236 for the $200 prize in the advanced amateur men's division, and Dan shot 260 in the advanced grandmasters amateur men for $125.

Another set of area relatives - this time two brothers - also did well.
In the intermediate men's division, Brian Anderson finished first and Matt Anderson took third.

The highest local finisher on the women's side was Katie Kemp, who placed third in the advanced division with a 293. Kemp was fourteen shots off Kristine King, who won the division with 279.
In intermediate women, Amber Newton was first with 336 and Adrian Boggess took second at 338.
Other top local finishers included Jason Flecksteiner (second in advanced amateur men with 237), Walter Langford (second in advanced grand masters amateur men with 274), Jon Fontana (first in recreational men with 273), Josh Fluke (first in junior division with 280), and Kevin Crews (first in masters division with 251).
