Last night, we saw the movie "Why We Fight" at the Nevada Theatre. It is an excellent movie which every American citizen should see.
Two principles which are thoroughly documented are:
1. Important foreign policy decisions are being made by the military industrial complex for profit motives; something which Eisenhower warned against.
2. Our government has lied to us on numerous occasions to gain public support for military action.
Until the American public understands these things and acts accordingly, there is little likelihood that we will have true democracy and peace.
