At 7:34 a.m., a woman from the 300 block of Alta Street reported confronting a burglar in her home, who ran through the back yard and over the fence. She described the man as 5-feet-8-inches to 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, in his mid-20s, with olive complexion, dark eyes and dark, ear-length wavy or curly hair and speaking with a thick accent. He was seen wearing a blue-and-white shirt, a red hat and dark pants.

At 4:01 p.m., a caller requested extra patrols over the weekend near Lyman Gilmore Middle School on Rough and Ready Highway, anticipating skateboarders who would come after the temporary closure of the nearby Skate Park due to vandalism.

At 1:16 p.m., a woman from the 10000 block of Robin Avenue reported paying a relative to do some cleaning who threw things around and caused approximately $1 million in damages. A deputy found that the allegation was unfounded.
