• At 4:04 p.m., a woman from the 500 block of Butler Street reported that someone sprayed Silly String on her vehicle.
• At 4:21 p.m., a person at Flyers gasoline station reported that a transient took an ATM card from a machine. The transient told police he had dropped the ATM card into the night box.
• At 5:09 p.m., officers arrested a 23-year-old man on the 100 block of Richardson Street on a local warrant for burglary.
• At 6:18 p.m., police arrested a 43-year-old woman on the 300 block of Bennett Street on a warrant.

• At 7:34 a.m., a woman from the 300 block of Alta Street reported confronting a burglar in her home, who ran through the back yard and over the fence. She described the man as 5-feet-8-inches to 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, in his mid-20s, with olive complexion, dark eyes and dark, ear-length wavy or curly hair and speaking with a thick accent. He was seen wearing a blue-and-white shirt, a red hat and dark pants.

• At 12:04 p.m., deputies booked into county jail a 28-year-old Grass Valley man on suspicion of inflicting bodily injury, child endangerment, false imprisonment and other felony offenses.
• At 4:01 p.m., a caller requested extra patrols over the weekend near Lyman Gilmore Middle School on Rough and Ready Highway, anticipating skateboarders who would come after the temporary closure of the nearby Skate Park due to vandalism.
• At 4:08 p.m., a woman from the 11000 block of Sierra Circle reported burglars had entered the house three nights in a row.
• At 7:26 p.m., a man from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported a woman trying to get in. Deputies arrested the 36-year-old Grass Valley woman on suspicion of being under the influence.
• At 8:25 p.m., a woman on the 14000 block of Sky Pines Road reported her juvenile daughter attacked her.
• At 9 p.m., a man from Hutto Road reported that two large dogs chased his horse.
• At 11:03 p.m., a caller from Greenbriar Way reported a man who had been drinking, had knives and possibly an ax. Deputies arrested a 54-year-old Auburn man on suspicion of felony weapons offenses.

• At 5:14 a.m., a man from the 10000 block of Lode Line Way reported chasing someone breaking into his truck. Authorities were looking for a black Toyota pickup.
• At 11:13 a.m., a caller from the 11000 block of Tammy Way reported the theft of items from a vending cart.
• At 1:16 p.m., a woman from the 10000 block of Robin Avenue reported paying a relative to do some cleaning who threw things around and caused approximately $1 million in damages. A deputy found that the allegation was unfounded.
• At 3:29 p.m., a man reported property valued at $20,000 had been taken from his unit at Peardale Pines Mini-Storage on Highway 174.
• At 9:32 p.m., a woman from the 13000 block of Meda Drive reported her house had been egged.
• At 11:42 p.m., a caller from the 11000 block of Spenceville Road reported someone trying to run people down.

• At 4:54 a.m., a woman from the 11000 block of Orion Way reported her boyfriend had beaten her up. The 33-year-old man later turned himself in and was arrested on suspicion of inflicting bodily injury.
• At 8:17 a.m., a caller from Holiday Market on Pleasant Valley Road reported the theft of pallets.
• At 12:26 p.m., a caller asked for police contact regarding a youth who was unconscious in the intensive care unit at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital due to an alcohol overdose. Other youths would not discuss where the party had been located, except to say that it was in Nevada City.
