The Nevada City Chamber of Commerce has released its new Nevada City Wedding Guide, a 68-page handbook with information for couples planning to wed.

The booklet includes a 12-month advance planning checklist, information on choosing invitations, wedding rings and more, along with a complete list of chamber members providing a wide range of local wedding venues and services.

Copies are available at the Nevada City Chamber visitor center, 132 Main St., in the historic South Yuba Canal Building. For more information, call 265-2692.

Linda Kaneko, vice president at Paul Law Realty-GMAC Real Estate, will offer a seminar titled "In's and Out's of the Purchase Contract" from 9 a.m. to noon, April 21, at the Nevada County Board of Realtors, Esterly Hall, 336 Crown Point Circle.

The seminar will include information on how to properly complete the purchase contract, the top 10 most common misunderstood and misused sections of the purchase contract and some questions and answers regarding use of documents and common business practices.

Marilyn Seolas of Grass Valley was one of the top 10 percent of agents company-wide to be honored at the annual Lyon Real Estate awards luncheon in Sacramento.

Seolas, Deborah Stanton and James Ahrens Sr. were the three top producing agents in the Grass Valley office for 2005.
