Nevada County Red Hat Society
It's not too late to participate in the annual Mardi Gras parade at 2 p.m. Feb. 26 in Nevada City. It should be great fun! Contact Queen Judy Kenney at 432 6848 if you plan to bring a vehicle. Prior to the parade, there will be a Red Hat buffet breakfast at 11:30 a.m. at the Stonehouse. You can attend the breakfast even if you don't march in the parade. The $22 cost includes a buffet with champagne or mimosas. Call Queen Marie McNitt at 272-9690.
Red Hatters who sign up for the Red Hat Hawaiian Cruise during the month of February may qualify for free three-category upgrades. This is such a great deal for those who want those balcony staterooms. May 15 will be the cut-off date for the reserved air space from Sacramento, but applications will be taken until September. The cruise will be from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2. Give Bobbi a call at 272- 4500 or e-mail redhatcathy@comcast.net for a free brochure.
Reservations are being taken for the Lake Tahoe Cruise and Dessert Buffet scheduled for July 30. The cost is $125 and includes the lunch cruise and dessert buffet at a local casino. A deposit of $50 is due now. Contact Queen Anne Miranda at 273-3494.
