The Wayside Chapel in Rough and Ready will be open for 24 hours on Valentine’s Day, with a minister “on call” to perform wedding, vow renewal and commitment ceremonies.
Wedding ceremonies require a valid California Marriage License, which can be obtained from any California County Recorder’s Office. The Wayside Chapel is located at 14526 Rough and Ready Highway in Rough and Ready.

The Wayside Chapel of Rough and Ready has been performing weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, baptismal, memorial services, and more since 1959.
Recently renovated, the chapel property also offers a changing room, and a new reception hall. The hall can be rented for private parties, corporate or group seminars/meetings, and used as a location for bazaars, fundraisers, and more.
