Lisa Mueller and Jeremiah Theos, both of Nevada city, were married Dec. 20, 2005 at Poipu, Kauai. The ceremony was conducted by Kelvin Ho. Seventeen guests attended the ceremony and dinner reception at The Beach House restaurant, with the ocean and sunset providing a romantic backdrop.
The bride is the daughter of Sandi and George Mueller of Penn Valley. She is a graduate of California State University, Chico, with a degree in dietetics and food administration. She works at De Martini Springhill Pharmacy.
The bridegroom, a Nevada Union High School graduate, is the son of Georgenna Theos of Grass Valley. He works at J. Theos Electric.
The bride wore a strapless, pink satin dress with a beaded bodice, and carried a cascading bouquet of exotic, tropical flowers.
The flower girl was the bride's niece, Madasyn Mueller, age 3, of Auburn.
The ring bearer was the bride's son, Dylan Mueller, 7, of Nevada City.
Music was provided by guitarist Hal Kinnaman.
The bride's parents, Sandi and George Mueller, surprised the guests by renewing their vows to celebrate 40 years of marriage.
The couple honeymooned on Kauai.
They live in Nevada City.
