Audition for your chance to be an extra

Media Casting, a Sacramento-based casting company, will hold an audition on Saturday in Auburn at the Music & More's Dewitt Theatre.

The audition will be from noon to 6 p.m.

One of the projects the audition will be for is the movie, "A Christmas Card," which is scheduled to be filmed in Nevada City beginning Wednesday.

The company is looking for people who can be cast in the primary roles as well as extras, Media Casting owner Everett Blix said. Four independent filmmakers based around the Sacramento area will also be present at the audition to spot talent.
