Zarah Shawnee Giles and Erik David Casto, both of Penn Valley, were married Aug. 20 at Commodore Park, Lake Wildwood. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Alan Lauer. Approximately 120 guests attended the ceremony.

Zarah is the daughter of Shawnee and Jay Giles of Bradley. She is a graduate of Heald College with a degree in business software applications. She is currently a homemaker.

Erik is the son of Sue Hudson of Grass Valley and Randy Casto of Penn Valley. He is a graduate of ITT Tech with a degree in electronics engineering. He is employed at Cineflex.

The bride wore a white strapless gown, veil and tiara, all studded with Swarovski crystals.

The maid of honor was Cherri Hiett of Hawaii.

The bridesmaids were Megan Sahaydak of Atascadero and the bride's sisters, Syreash Giles of Paso Robles, and Kyonnah Giles and Oniqueh Giles, both of Monterey.

The flower girls were Ashlyn Oden, age 7, the groom's niece, and Sydney Afdal, 7, of Lincoln.

The ring bearers were the groom's brothers, Tye Casto, 11, and Kodiak Casto, 9, along with 8-month-old Xzyler Casto, the son of the bride and groom.

The best man was Matt Baker of Grass Valley.

The groomsmen were Barry Phillips of Cedar Ridge, and Glenn Higgins, Ty Gipson and Charley Fox, all of Grass Valley.

Music was provided by vocalists Dan Hudson, the groom's stepfather, and Barry Acmoody, both of Grass Valley.

The guest book attendant was the groom's niece, Kaylie Oden.

The photographer was Mary Anne Davis.

The couple honeymooned in Shelter Cove.

They live in Penn Valley.
