At 2:22 p.m., a woman called from the 16000 block of Sandra Court to report her purse was taken from her car last night.
At 4:41 p.m., a caller from the 10000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported someone threw many large toys into his yard. The toys came from a child care center that is closed.
At 5:51 p.m., a person in a white Cadillac parked near the jail was making visual contact with an inmate through a window.
At 6:15 p.m., a man called from the 16000 block of Alioto Drive to report he had returned home the last few days to find his door unlocked. He remembered locking the door. He believed demons were responsible. Deputies were unable to locate any.

At 9:16 a.m., a caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported an assault. Deputies wrote a report for battery.
At 9:33 a.m., a caller from the 10000 block of Alta Mine reported theft of tail lights. Deputies wrote a report for vehicle tampering.

At 4:46 p.m., police arrested a 19-year-old man for burglary, grand theft and forgery.
At 4:58 p.m., a handicapped caller from a Grass Valley gas station was not happy with service and required assistance.
At 6:04 p.m., a caller from the 400 block of Neal Street reported a physical fight. Police arrested a 34-year-old woman for spousal abuse and cited a 33-year-old man for battery of a spouse/cohabitant.
At 6:53 p.m., a caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a 39-year-old man assaulted his mother. He left in a silver 1988 Oldsmobile and had been drinking and possibly taking pain killers and muscle relaxers. Police wrote a report for corporal injury of a cohabitant and alerted other law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for the man.
At 7:29 p.m., police arrested a 41-year-old woman for battery on the 100 block of Glasson Street.
Friday
At 2:06 a.m., a caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported hearing a verbal fight between a man and a woman. Police made contact and arrested a 20-year-old man for a warrant and possession of a controlled substance and a 36-year-old man for a warrant.
