Grass Valley Police Department

<B>Monday</B>

• At 11:52 a.m., a caller from Richardson Street at East Main Street reported the left turn traffic signal was not working. Information was given to an electrician.

• At 1:49 p.m., a caller from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive said his sister gave several items to someone he owes money to and she wouldn't give the items back. He was very agitated.

• At 4:25 p.m., a caller from Prosperity Lanes on the 400 block of Henderson Street reported a 45-year-old man standing at the bar appeared drunk. Police arrested him for being drunk in public.

• At 6:09 p.m., a caller from Enterprise Rent-a Car reported the theft of a silver 2006 GMC Yukon. A report was taken.

• At 8:10 p.m., police cited a 40-year-old man on North Auburn Street and Richardson Street for having false registration tags.

• At 8:14 p.m., an anonymous caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported drug use in an apartment complex. Police contact resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old man for a warrant and citation for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• At 8:34 p.m., a caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a physical fight between a mother, daughter and son. Nobody wished to press charges.

• At 10:15 p.m., police cited a 44-year-old man for being under the influence of a controlled substance at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital where he was being admitted.

<B>Tuesday</B>

• At 12:06 a.m., a caller from the 600 block of East Main Street said someone was hitting golf balls possibly from the 100 block of West Berryhill Street. Police made contact with several people in the area who all said the clubs and balls were not theirs. Police took items as found property.

• At 12:25 a.m., a caller from northbound Highway 49 near Streeter Road reported an accident; donkey vs. vehicle. The California Highway Patrol and the Nevada County Sheriff's Office were advised.

• At 2:39 a.m., a California Highway Patrol officer said he arrested the cook from Lyons Restaurant for drunk driving and he wanted the police to be aware of possible food issues later if they eat at the restaurant.

• At 9:26 a.m., a caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported the theft of a snowboard from a vehicle.

Nevada County Sheriff's Office

<B>Monday</B>

• At 1:26 p.m., a caller from the 12000 block of Shady Lane reported theft of hydrocodone from a residence.

• At 1:55 p.m., a caller from Norlene Way reported a person between 17-20 years old was walking toward Round Valley carrying a handgun. Deputies checked the area extensively and were unable to locate the person.

• At 2:26 p.m., a caller from the 11000 block of McCourtney Road reported someone was burning trash.

• At 2:45 p.m., a caller fromt he 18000 block of Hummingbird Drive reported mail was stolen.

• At 2:59 p.m., a caller from the 20000 block of Big Springs Drive reported mail was stolen on Saturday.

• At 3:02 p.m., a caller from Peaceful Valley Road reported a juvenile was beaten so badly that he couldn't move. A deputy was unable to locate the caller and left a card in the door.

• At 7:15 p.m., a woman called from the 11000 block of Mooney Flat Road to report a skunk on her property attacked her dog and tried to attack her when she tried to push it away with a broom. Nevada County Animal Control handled the call.

• At 8:55 p.m., a man called from the 11000 block of Melody Road to report he chased two people off of private property when he saw them lying down. He didn't know if they were hiding from him or cuddling.

<B>Tuesday</B>

• At 2:07 a.m., a woman called from the 11000 block of Ridge Road to report dogs barking. She said she wanted something done about it tonight. She was advised to call Nevada County Animal Control.
