A 3:32 p.m. caller from the 13800 block of Mica Court requested a welfare check because a man beat her up last week and then came into her place of business with scratches on him. The man was later arrested for assault on a cohabitant or spouse.
A caller from Sun Forest Drive reported at 3:54 p.m. that her ex-husband was making annoying phone calls and following her everywhere.
A 47-year-old maintenance man from Penn Valley was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility at 4:33 p.m. for possession of drugs, a hypodermic syringe and committing a felony while out on bail or recognizance. Bail was set at $11,000.
A caller from Calvary Chapel on the 10000 block of Wolf Road called at 4:53 p.m. to report four juveniles skateboarding on the parking lot. When the caller asked them to leave, they ignored the request, set up a ramp and began running a motor scooter over it.
An unemployed 22-year-old Nevada City man was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Center at 4:59 p.m. for possession of heroin and being under the influence of drugs. Bail was set at $10,000.
A caller from Banner Lava Cap Road reported at 5:11 p.m. that a person was threatening to break his neck.
A 5:26 p.m. caller from a business on the 12300 block of Loma Rica Drive reported that someone used a credit card for a purchase that was disapproved after the customer left.
A Penn Valley man, 34, was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility at 5:32 p.m. for assaulting a cohabitant or spouse. Bail was set at $25,000.
At 10:29 p.m., a caller reported a woman kneeling in Squirrel Creek Road wearing a fur coat and no pants. When the caller walked up to the woman, she began playing a flute. Deputies were unable to locate her.

A 2:32 a.m. caller from the 400 block of South Pine Street said her friend was possibly slipped a drug while out in Nevada City.
A woman called at 3:15 a.m. from the 11200 block of Red Dog Road to report that someone tried to break into her truck while she was in it.
At 3:23 a.m., a caller from the 16700 block of Pasquale Road reported that a bear was trapped in the cab of the family's truck in the driveway. Deputies released the bear and it ran off.
An assault was reported at 7:43 a.m. inside a car on Brunswick Road. A female victim said a man had assaulted her while they were driving. Officers noted visible injuries to her leg while at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and arrested the man for assaulting a spouse or cohabitant.
A Penn Valley construction worker, 26, was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Center at 10:36 a.m. for possessing or making an illegal weapon and a violation of probation. Bail was set at $10,000.

A caller reported at 3:22 p.m. from the 300 block of Main Street that she was having an ongoing issue with a neighbor, who dumped coffee on her vehicle and has been continually yelling obscenities at her.
At 6:47 p.m., a caller from the 300 block of Rhode Island Street reported that two men, both about 21, had come to her door asking for money for students to go to Paris. Officers were unable to locate them.
An attempted assault over a parking lot spot in the 200 block of Mill Street was reported at 6:24 p.m. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
At 8:53 p.m., a driver reported an aluminum boat sitting in the northbound lane of Highway 49 just north of McKnight Way.
A fight was reported at 10:26 p.m. at Mill and Neal streets, with several people involved. Responding officers arrested a person there on a warrant and possession of marijuana.
A scuffle was reported at 10:42 p.m. at Gary's Place, where one person was cited and another booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for fighting.

A patient at Meadow View Manor on the 300 block of Dorsey Drive was reported out of control and fighting with staff at 6:14 a.m. The patient was medicated.
