At 11:09 a.m., a woman called from the 200 block of Chapel Street to report that her gray 2005 Honda Civic was vandalized sometime during the night.
At 11:57 a.m., a caller from the 400 block of Pine Street reported that a pit bull attacked a cat. The owner of the pit bull got control of it and put it in his vehicle.
At 3:14 p.m., a man called from the 600 block of Leduc Street to report a physical fight involving a knife. The man involved in the fight left before officers arrived. The caller reported the man was driving away in a green and white Ford pickup toward Golden Empire Market. The woman involved in the fight declined to make a stolen vehicle report.
At 3:55 p.m., a caller from the 600 block of Pelton Way reported the theft of a cell phone from an unlocked vehicle.
At 4:37 p.m., an anonymous caller from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported a physical fight between a man and woman. The woman left and the man was talking with another man about planning to "bash a female's face in." Police checked the area and were unable to locate anyone matching the men's descriptions.
At 4:51 p.m., police arrested a man in front of Ralphs for being drunk in public.
At 10:59 p.m., police cited a 50-year-old man on Maiden Street at Richardson Street for driving with a suspended license.

At 1:39 a.m., police cited a driver on West Berryhill Drive for driving with a suspended license.
At 7:38 a.m., a caller reported a man in a sleeping bag behind a dumpster behind the old post office on South Auburn Street. The 27-year-old man was advised of camping and loitering ordinances and told to move on.
At 7:41 a.m., a caller from the 200 block of Lloyd Street reported that a 3-year-old child was wandering the street without much clothing on. The child was returned to the parents. The 47-year-old father was cited for child endangerment.

<B>Sunday</B>
At 10:39 a.m., a man called from the 16000 block of Penn Valley Drive to report a found wallet.
At 11:59 a.m., deputies responded to a call about a fight over a pit bull killing a cat at the Nevada City Gas Station. The complaint was unfounded. The owner of the pit bull left a note on the cat owner's door.
At 12:28 p.m., a caller from the 10000 block of Mooney Flat Road reported two pit bulls were loose, walking toward Highway 20. The owner called to report that he had control of his dogs. Deputies made contact and the situation was resolved.
At 1:05 p.m., a woman called from the 14000 block of Skaith Bend Road to report her 21-year-old son was out of control. He had reportedly been throwing things around and went after the woman's husband with a pool cue. Deputies made contact with the family.
At 1:47 p.m., a caller from Ridge Road at Zion Street reported that a man with long, dark hair wearing blue jeans and a dark sweatshirt was talking to a lamp post. Deputies contacted the man, who had been drinking, but he was not drunk and did not meet the standards for a mental health evaluation.
At 3:30 p.m., a woman called from the 14000 block of Silver Pick Court to report that people had been drinking beer and starting fires near her residential construction site. They were reportedly using toilet paper from a port-a-potty to start the fires. Extra patrol was requested.
At 3:53 p.m., a man called from the 18000 block of Norlene Way to report his girlfriend's ex-husband was on his way to the residence and had called earlier and threatened to kill everyone living there. The ex-husband was reportedly upset because of his ex-wife's new relationship. Dispatch announced to area law enforcement to be on the lookout for the man.
<B>Monday</B>
At 9:15 a.m., a woman called from the 14000 block of Lode Star Drive to report that her boyfriend picked her up, threw her against the wall, then threw her out of the house. She did not want medical attention. A report for spousal abuse was taken.
At 12:29 p.m., a woman called from the 10000 block of Alta Street to report a verbal fight with her neighbor, who reportedly painted a red line down the middle of the common driveway and was yelling at her. She said her neighbor has also threatened her dog in the past.

At 4:38 a.m., a woman called from the 100 block of Grove Street to report that someone tried to get into her house. She did not know if there was anyone in the area, but she said there were footsteps on her porch and someone trying to open the door. Police checked the area and were unable to locate anyone. There were possibly animals in the area.
