"A Christmas Story"- will be performed by The Foothill Theatre Company at the Nevada Theatre in Nevada City. Set more than a half a century ago in a more innocent America, this sweet and nostalgic tale is riotously funny throughout. Performances are 7 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 31. Preview performance Thursday, Nov. 17. Tickets $5-$23. 265-8587 or (888) 730-8587.
