Supporting literacy

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Literacy Council of Nevada County, I want to thank all the individuals and organizations for your financial and physical donations this past year. Special thanks to Ghidotti Foundation, Masonic Lodge of Nevada City No. 13, Grass Valley School District, Nevada City 49er Breakfast Rotary Club, The Union and United Way. All of your contributions go toward our part-time Program Coordinator, training materials for our volunteer tutors and curriculum to assist our adult students learn English and be an active part of our community. Thanks also to all our volunteer tutors and to Pam Fortner for her time, effort and writing skills describing our mission and wish list so accurately.
