At 11:55 p.m., a caller from the 200 block of Catherine Lane asked for extra patrols after a possible prowler was seen looking into the caller's back yard.

At 4:04 a.m. on the 200 block of South Auburn Street, a man that police cited a day earlier for littering and having an open container of alcohol was reported using a water hose at Express Mart. Police told him never to return to the business; the man said he had misunderstood their conversation Thursday and believed he got one warning per day.
At 4:38 a.m., a verbal argument on the 1400 block of East Main resulted in the arrest of a 28-year-old Grass Valley painter, who was jailed on suspicion of inflicting bodily injury on his wife or cohabitant; bail was set at $25,000.
At 12:09 p.m., a caller from the 100 block of North Church Street reported a man exposing himself as women walked by. Police were following up.
At 12:39 p.m., a call from the 200 block of South Church Street regarding youths who took light bulbs from a church resulted in the arrest of a 19-year-old person on suspicion of drugs.

At 4:40 p.m., deputies booked a 52-year-old Grass Valley man, who works as a ranch hand, into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on suspicion of three drug violations, a firearm violation and driving without a license. Bail was set at $25,000.
At 4:48 a.m., jail deputies booked a 46-year-old Penn Valley man, who works as a maintenance worker, on suspicion of marijuana and syringe possession.
At 7:34 p.m., a caller from Boreham Lane reported two men, one on a bicycle and the other on a moped, who looked as though they were staking out the area.
At 7:42 p.m., a woman from the 12300 block of Cannon Way reported a suspicious-looking bag under her trailer. Deputies found it was full of grass clippings.

At 9:05 a.m., a man and woman were reported fighting on Main Street, in the town of Washington, by the Washington Hotel. The woman allegedly tried to run the man over, and both left in their vehicles. Deputies located the woman, but were unable to get information from her.
At 10:06 a.m., a woman from the 13200 block of Newtown Road reported a man with a gun threatened her, saying her boyfriend stole his marijuana.
At 11:05 a.m., a caller from the 15300 block of Little Valley Road reported a man walking around with an ice pick. Deputies found the man using the implement to work on a radiator.
