&#149; At 4:14 p.m., two people were cited for smoking cigarettes at Memorial Park and told not to return for 72 hours.

&#149; At 4:33 p.m., a caller reported the theft of a purse at Staples on Oct. 7.

&#149; At 4:40 p.m., a woman from the 200 block of Joerschke Drive reported she had a physical fight with her mother.



Thursday

&#149; At 8:54 a.m., a caller from the 100 block of West Empire Street reported a transient was urinating in the yard. Police found the 59-year-old man had not taken his medication; the man said he would return home to take it.

&#149; At 12:46 p.m., the man seen urinating on West Empire Street was cited for littering on the 100 block of South Auburn Street.

At 1:51 p.m., the same man was seen urinating on the wall of City Hall. He was cited for having an open container of alcohol.

&#149; At 4:24 p.m., Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital reported an assault victim in the emergency room who did not wish to press charges.

&#149; At 7:47 p.m., a man from the 16100 block of Paddy's Flats Road reported the theft of a sign from his property.



Thursday

&#149; Two injured deer were reported, one at 7:35 a.m. on Pleasant Valley Road and one at 9:20 a.m. on the 10100 block of Bitney Springs Road.

&#149; At 9:21 a.m., a tractor-trailer took out telephone lines on the 11300 block of Bennett Road.

&#149; At 9:50 a.m., a theft was reported at the Golden Chain Motel on Highway 49 that occurred in August.

&#149; At 12:14 a.m., a woman wearing black clothes and with a pit bull terrier was reported screaming outside Cooper's on Commercial Street. Police asked her to quiet down.
