Western Nevada Countys drug recovery community turned out in force Thursday night to say there is hope for methamphetamine addicts.
At a town hall meeting in Grass Valley broadcast by KVMR, former addicts and county officials said there are already many meth recovery success stories in the county. Rogers and others said the countys drug courts, the Community Recovery Resources group and its new alumni association are all making a dent in the countys meth epidemic. Meeting panel members said to make that dent larger, more money for education and treatment is needed from the private and public sectors.
