Kelly Nicole Stover and Jason Thomas Higelin, both of Grass Valley, were married June 17 aboard Paradise Yacht on Lake Tahoe. The ceremony was officiated by Capt. Bryan Hickman. Approximately 75 guests attended the shipboard ceremony and sunset cruise/reception.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Teri Stover of Grass Valley. She is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, with a liberal arts degree and multiple-subject teaching credential. She works for Roseville City School District.

The bridegroom is the son of Maureen Higelin of Granite Bay. He works for Mason Williams Masonry.

The bride wore a floor-length white gown with beaded spaghetti straps, her great-grandmother's pearl necklace and flowers in her hair. She carried a bouquet of white and lavender roses and eggplant-colored calalilies.

The maid of honor was Janelle Jones of Grass Valley.

The bridesmaids were Katrina Alves of San Francisco, and Scarlett Yahn-Russell and Iris Vineyard, both of Grass Valley.

The flower girl was Georgia Cutter, age 7, of Nevada City.

The ring bearers were Ian and Logan Blue, ages 7 and 4, of Nevada City.

The best man was Ryan Erickson of Citrus Heights.

The groomsmen were John Rinkor of Chicago Park, Jonah Lewis of Rocklin, and Kevin Lewin of Sacramento.

The four-tier white wedding cake was decorated with fresh purple flowers.
