The California Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran his vehicle into a juvenile at a Penn Valley party early Saturday morning, causing the young man to be hospitalized.
CHP officer Greg Thys said Monday the crash occurred on the 12300 block of Hidden Valley Road, where the suspect reportedly got into an argument with the property owner and was asked to leave about 1:50 a.m. Thys said witnesses saw the suspect back down a driveway, rev his engine and drive directly into the juvenile, who suffered several leg fractures.
The juvenile was taken by air ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he was in stable condition Monday.
Thys said the CHP is looking for a white male, name unknown, who was driving a black Toyota Celica 2000. Anyone with information is asked to call the CHP at 273-4415.
