Project may be too noisy

For more than a year, Nevada County's Fire Safe Council has been hunting for a place to sort and process brush, scrappy trees and pine needles.After investigating 14 sites, none of which seemed right, the nonprofit council found the 106-acre parcel owned by the federal Bureau of Land Management off Old Auburn Road.
