A Safeway grocery store in Truckee was evacuated Tuesday evening after a bomb scare.
When police arrived at the store at 6 p.m., they were directed to a package in the meat department.
Authorities from Placer County X-rayed the package, but could not determine what was inside.
A robot was used to move the box out of the store and open the package. No destructive device was found.
