The 2010 PGA Tour season is now in full swing (pardon the pun) and is now making its way through California. A couple weeks ago we watched the Bob Hope Desert Classic, then last week the boys played Torrey Pines in San Diego.

The Lower Yuba River has been one of the better winter fisheries in the north state this year.  Conditions have been quite good despite the recent heavy rains.

My read of my favorite weather Web site portends as much as two weeks of rain headed our way.  In the short run this will be inconvenient, but in the medium to long term it bodes well for our fisheries.
