The Nevada County Republican Party is pleased to announce its Ruth and Drew Bedwell Memorial Scholarship program for 2012.
The party annually awards a $1,500 scholarship to a Nevada County high school senior who submits the best essay on an assigned topic.
The essay topic for this year is: “What do you think our U.S Constitution means when defining our freedom and limited government?”
Students should write an essay of approximately 1,000 words, typed, double-spaced, 12-point letters. Deadline date for submission of the essay is April 1. Interested students should contact their high school scholarship coordinator for further details.
