A memorial service was held in her honor at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at the Gracepoint Adventist Church, 3500 Sunset Blvd, in Rocklin, Calif.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our mother, sister, daughter, teacher, friend, aunt, motorcycle buddy and sister in Christ.
She leaves behind her son, Jeff of Rocklin, Calif.; daughter, Stephanie of Portland, Ore.; ex-husband, Scott of Rocklin, Calif.; mother and stepfather, Joanne and Bill Ricks of Arizona; brothers, Lawrence Gallagher of Washington; Scott Gallagher, Idaho; stepbrothers, Don Church of Florida; Tom Church of Montana.; John Church of Washington; stepsister, Kathy Williamson of Idaho; and many heartbroken friends and beloved students.
Vickie was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Charles (Bud) and Alice Gallagher of Renton, Wash.
