The Rotary Club of Nevada County South will hold a dinner dance fundraiser at 6 p.m. Feb. 11 at Alta Sierra Country Club. The theme for the event is Wise Guys and Dolls, featuring a Roaring 20s speakeasy, complete with secret passwords for entry and Rotarians dressed as gangsters, molls and swells from the period. Also featured is a complete dinner and dancing to the tunes of Bobby G. Cost for the event is $50 per person. Tickets are available at www.ncsrotary.org. Proceeds from the event will benefit local youth by providing a wide range of scholarships, as well as support to schools and nonprofit organizations.
