Monday — 90 calls for service9:58 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Forest Glade Circle reported a battery by a woman. At 9:47 p.m., the caller reported being pushed by the woman into a sliding glass window. No medical attention was needed.
10:39 a.m. — A woman from the 200 block of West Main Street reported coffee had been thrown on a building, possibly by an evicted tenant.
12:40 p.m. — A woman from the 100 block of West Empire Street reported a drunken man was verbally abusive and pushed her.
12:41 p.m. — A caller from Sutton Way reported three juveniles smoking marijuana. They were cited on suspicion of smoking tobacco.
12:50 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Hughes Road reported people continuing to kick garbage cans and spit on neighbors.
12:51 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a baby locked in a vehicle with no parents on the scene.
1:36 p.m. — A caller reported an assault at Sierra College.
2:23 p.m. — A caller from North Church Street reported a physical fight between a man and a woman. At 10:26 p.m., a caller reported a fight that was found to be verbal only.
5:18 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South School Street reported an assault. A man was arrested on suspicion of battery.

12:26 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a physical fight.
Nevada County Sheriff's Office
Monday — 83 calls for service10:37 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of McCourtney Road reported the theft of equipment.
10:45 a.m. — A man from the 15000 block of Ridge Estates Road reported people were cutting trees on his property.
10:59 a.m. — A woman from Red Dog Road reported juveniles were throwing rocks at her horses and her vehicles.
12:15 p.m. — A caller from the 29000 block of Highway 49 reported the theft of a digital camera yesterday.
2:40 p.m. — Security forces at Lake of the Pines reported several intoxicated juveniles. One was transported to the hospital and several were cited.
2:43 p.m. — A woman reported seeing a man carrying a woman over his shoulder at Zeibright Road and Highway 20. Some people were found to have been chasing grasshoppers in a field and the man was carrying his child.
5 p.m. — A man from the 17000 block of Clover Road reported his son took his guns and has not returned them.
6:11 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported two juveniles ran away on foot. One was seen hitchhiking and getting picked up.
8:42 p.m. — A man from the 13000 block of Day Spring Road reported a person looking in his window who then left.
9:06 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a woman came to a residence reporting domestic violence, then a man showed up and dragged her out. The man then came back at 9:30 p.m. looking for the woman, breaking a glass door in the process. The woman could not be located by deputies.
9:12 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of McCourtney Road reported drunken people with pit bulls were trying to jump in the caller's vehicle.

Monday — 16 calls for serviceTuesday
3:07 a.m. — A caller reported someone throwing trash cans at Nevada and Broad streets.
7:40 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported a theft. A person was arrested on suspicion of theft.
