Start saving those shoeboxes — the Operation Christmas Child campaign is gearing up in Nevada County.

Community groups and individuals are invited to fill a shoebox with gifts and toiletries, which will be delivered to needy children overseas.

First Baptist Church of Grass Valley is the Nevada County drop-off site, and volunteers will be on hand between Nov. 15-22 to accept the contributions.
