Memories of the Nevada County Fair continue to entertain residents of Horizon West Grass Valley Care Center who visited the recent annual event.

“Every year, we take as many of our seniors as we can to the fair,” said Lori Palacio, activities director of the 51-bed inpatient rehabilitation center on Catherine Lane.

“There's always something new to see and each person genuinely gets a lot out of the experience,” she added.

About seven residents were able to enjoy this year's fair, visiting the quilt and art exhibits and Treat Street.
