Lip Service singing telegrams hits the road again

Grass Valley resident Barbara Lynn has resurrected her former business.

Lip Service, first started in 2002, is an entertainment service that incorporates song and costume into a singing telegram.

Lynn uncovered her old costumes, which include a frog, clown and heart, and created a new Lip Service website.

She charges $60 for a song, $25 for a dozen roses, $15 for a balloon bouquet, $20 for candy and $15 for champagne.

Her renewed business comes as she prepares to start studies at Sierra College in the fall for a new career as a nurse.
